Courtesy Visit to the Department of Older Persons Affairs

NA BANGKOK paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Older Persons Affairs, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Kingdom of Thailand.

In Thailand, elderly care is overseen not only by the Ministry of Public Health, but also by the Department of Older Persons Affairs. In addition, the Ministry of Education plays an important role in human resource development for technical intern trainees.

As courtesy visits to the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Education have already been completed, this visit focused on providing Expert in Older Persons Affairs Ms. KOBKUL KWUANGSUAN with an overview of the increasing number of Thai caregiving technical intern trainees sent to Japan, as well as the structure of training and education systems in Japan.

We also expressed our strong commitment to further efforts aimed at improving the caregiving and welfare industry in Thailand through the acquisition of advanced skills.
