On June 17, 2026, Mr. Peerapat Srisukha, Managing Director of NA BANGKOK Co., Ltd. and Board Member of the Thai Overseas Manpower Association, attended the Public-Private Seminar on Expanding the Thai Labor Market for Overseas Employment, held at Ballroom 2, 3rd Floor, The Emerald Hotel Ratchada, Bangkok. The event was organized by the Ministry of Labour and the Department of Employment, with over 300 representatives from government agencies, private sector organizations, and related bodies in attendance.
The seminar was honored by Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Minister of Labour, who presided over the opening ceremony and delivered key policies on promoting Thai overseas employment. The emphasis was placed on developing workers' skills in alignment with global labor market demands — including New Skill development, Upskilling, and Reskilling — to enhance the competitiveness of Thai workers on the international stage.
On this occasion, NA BANGKOK co-hosted an exhibition booth on behalf of the Thai Overseas Manpower Association to showcase the private sector's role in supporting the legal deployment of Thai workers abroad. The booth presented information on employment programs in Japan, pre-departure skill and language development, as well as approaches to supporting Thai workers throughout the overseas employment process.
The company also had the opportunity to present its operational results and brief the Minister of Labour and senior officials who visited the booth — particularly regarding strategies for developing Thai workers' skills to meet the demands of Japanese industries, building cooperative networks with Japanese employers, and promoting quality employment opportunities across various fields such as elderly care, hospitality, agriculture, and technical trades.
During the event, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, Director-General of the Department of Employment, reported on the progress of Thai overseas labor deployment, noting that in fiscal year 2026, Thailand had already sent over 85,000 workers abroad out of a target of 130,000 — reflecting the significant role of all sectors in creating stable employment and income opportunities for Thai workers.
A special lecture on "Protection of Thai Workers Abroad" was also delivered by a representative from the Consular Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to strengthen awareness of Thai workers' rights, welfare, and support systems overseas.
This seminar served as an important platform for exchanging views between the public and private sectors, as well as building collaborative networks to expand new labor markets and elevate the standards of Thai overseas employment deployment — ensuring quality, transparency, and sustainability.
We remains committed to developing Thai workers' potential, supporting legal overseas employment, and contributing to the creation of stable career opportunities that improve the quality of life for Thai workers and their families in the future.
