On May 22, 2025, the Saitama Prefecture Joint Induction and Award Ceremony for Caregiving Staff was held at the Saitama Citizens’ Health Center.
Thai caregiving technical intern trainees working in Saitama Prefecture attended the ceremony alongside Japanese staff, symbolizing strong Thailand–Japan cooperation in addressing the challenges of a super-aging society.
The event recognized newly appointed caregivers and honored those who have shown long-term dedication, with the Governor of Saitama delivering opening remarks and awards.
This ceremony highlighted the growing international significance of the caregiving profession.
