Courtesy Visit to the Department of Employment

Following Thailand’s national election last year and the formation of a new government under Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, NA BANGKOK paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Employment, which oversees overseas employment under the Ministry of Labour.

Discussions focused on utilizing Japan’s technical internship system to provide safe and secure employment opportunities, allowing young Thai nationals to acquire skills across various industries and contribute to Thailand’s national development upon their return.

We reaffirmed our commitment to actively supporting Thai citizens through the Technical Intern Training Program (transitioning to the Employment for Skill Development Program) and the Specified Skilled Worker program.
