New Year Visit to Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan

After several years of travel restrictions due to COVID-19, we were able to visit Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan for a New Year prayer.

Located approximately 90 minutes by car from Bangkok in Chachoengsao Province, this historic temple is said to receive the highest number of Thai worshippers nationwide.

At Wat Sothon, offerings of eggs are made once prayers are fulfilled. These eggs are carefully collected and donated to impoverished border regions, along with donated clothing, stationery, and furniture.

On this occasion, NA BANGKOK also donated clothing in support of this initiative.
