Participates in the "Symposium on Human Resource Exchange with Ambassadors of Sending Countries in Japan"

On July 7, 2026, Mr. Peerapat Srisukha, Managing Director of NA BANGKOK RECRUITMENT CO., LTD. and a Board Member of the Thai Overseas Manpower Association (TOMA), attended the "Symposium on Human Resource Exchange with Ambassadors of Sending Countries in Japan," organized by the National Association for Global & Open Minded Communities (NAGOMi) in Tokyo, Japan. As part of its role in promoting international cooperation, we coordinated with the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo to invite H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, to participate in the symposium and share Thailand's perspectives as the country's official representative.

The symposium served as a platform for dialogue on human resource development and labor mobility between Japan and major labor-sending countries. Ambassadors and representatives from Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bangladesh, and Mongolia shared their views on Japan's foreign workforce policies, the experiences of their nationals living and working in Japan, and recommendations for promoting an orderly and sustainable multicultural society.

The event was honored by the presence of senior Japanese government officials, including Mr. Iwao Horii, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Ms. Midori Matsushima, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and Foreign Resident Policy, together with members of the National Diet, representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Immigration Services Agency, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, as well as leading economic organizations and institutions involved in the acceptance of foreign workers across Japan.

The symposium also formed part of the ongoing national initiative to promote the establishment of the "Basic Act for an Orderly Symbiotic Society with Foreign Nationals." The proposed legislation aims to establish a comprehensive legal framework for Japan's foreign workforce policies while strengthening cooperation among the government, private sector, and partner countries.
