This visit became another “heart-warming journey” for our team.

Recently, we visited seven Thai technical intern trainees currently undergoing caregiving training at four elderly care facilities in Saitama Prefecture. This meaningful visit was conducted together with the Juridical Foundation for International Personnel Management (IPM) and KUAKARUNA CHILD AND ELDERLY CARE SCHOOL (Thailand), and was filled with pride, strong bonds, and warm smiles.

Facilities Visited

  • Hibiki Special Nursing Home : El & Baimon

  • Akatsuki Special Nursing Home : Prae & Ying

  • Kagayaki Special Nursing Home : Aui

  • Akiyama-en Special Nursing Home : Pond & Cream

At each facility, we carefully toured the actual working environments where the trainees perform their daily duties, including day service units, short-stay and long-stay areas, bathing facilities, dining halls, and residential areas. This allowed us to gain a clear understanding of their real working conditions and professional growth.

Hearing Their Voices and Witnessing Their Growth

The trainees shared many inspiring reflections, including:

  • They truly enjoy their daily work in Japan

  • Staff members are kind and supportive, with a clear and well-structured organizational culture

  • They are learning Japanese-style elderly care practices every day

  • They look forward to welcoming juniors currently studying in Thailand and working together in the future

  • Many aspire to obtain the national qualification of Certified Care Worker (Kaigo Fukushishi), which would allow them to work professionally in Japan

Several trainees also shared:

“We were nervous on the first day we arrived in Japan, but now we hope to work here for as long as possible.”

Their words deeply moved us.

Gratitude for the Warm Hospitality

We sincerely thank all the facilities for their warm welcome and for kindly treating us to the local specialty Houtou, a dish that warmed both our hearts and spirits.

A Token of Appreciation from Thailand

On behalf of NA BANGKOK RECRUITMENT CO., LTD., our Managing Director Peerapat Srisukha presented each facility with a handcrafted traditional Thai embroidered cloth featuring elephant motifs, made by Thai artisans, as a symbol of our gratitude for the continuous care and support given to the trainees.

Moving Forward Together

This visit was not merely an observation trip-it reaffirmed our strong belief that Thai youth have great potential. Their language ability, technical skills, sense of responsibility, and hospitality have enabled them to grow into trusted professionals, respected by both residents and staff.

NA BANGKOK will continue to work closely with our partners to create reliable and sustainable career pathways, ensuring that more Thai students can shine and succeed in Japan’s caregiving sector.
